Die Tagesgeld-Sonderaktion der Bank of Scotland läuft nur noch wenige Tage: Neukunden, die bis zum 23.08. erstmalig ein Tagesgeldkonto eröffnen, erhalten als Willkommensgeschenk ein Startguthaben in Höhe von 30 Euro. Das Bank of Scotland Tagesgeld zählt damit zu den allerbesten am Markt. Neben dem attraktiven Startguthaben bietet es auch eine sehr hohe Verzinsung von 2,1 Prozent p.a. ab dem ersten Euro. Die Kontoführung ist kostenlos und ohne Mindesteinlage möglich.

Wie bei Tagesgeld üblich sind sämtliche Guthaben jederzeit und in vollem Umfang verfügbar. Die Guthaben der Anleger sind über die gesetzliche Einlagensicherung im Vereinigten Königreich bis zu einer Höhe von 50.000 Pfund je Kunde zu 100 Prozent geschützt. Der Zinssatz gilt für Guthaben bis 500.000 Euro. Bei darüber hinausgehenden Einlagen behält sich die Bank of Scotland die Festlegung eines abweichenden Zinssatzes vor. Nach dem Eingang der Ersteinlage wird das Startguthaben binnen 6 Wochen direkt dem Tagesgeldkonto gutgeschrieben.
