Bank of Scotland: 20-Euro-Aktion geht in eine neue Runde

Die Bank of Scotland hat mit Wirkung zum 29.03. eine neue Sonderaktion gestartet: Wer bis zum 31.05. ein kostenfreies Tagesgeldkonto eröffnet und es mit einer Überweisung aktiviert, erhält ein einmaliges Startguthaben in Höhe von 20 Euro als Willkommensgeschenk. Ein identisches Angebot hatte das Institut bereits in der Vergangenheit mehrfach genutzt um neue Kunden zu gewinnen. Das Tagesgeldkonto bietet aktuell eine Verzinsung in Höhe von 2,1 Prozent ab dem ersten Euro. Sämtliche Guthaben sind jederzeit und in vollem Umfang verfügbar.

Die Bank of Scotland ist nicht der deutschen Einlagensicherung angeschlossen, weil sie in Deutschland lediglich als Zweigniederlassung ihrer britischen Muttergesellschaft agiert. Über die britische Einlagensicherung sind Guthaben bis zu 50.000 Pfund je Kunde allerdings zu 100 Prozent geschützt. Die Kontoführung erfolgt online über eine als sehr sicher geltende Banking-Plattform. Die Bank of Scotland ist seit dem Jahr 2008 auf dem deutschen Markt für Privatkunden aktiv und bietet seitdem stets Zinssätze deutlich über dem Marktdurchschnitt.
